New guy here - don't hurt me!
You may know there are still a few new 2012 Anniversary R1's out there - I need one :yesnod
My question: What's a reasonable price to pay?
Cycletrader has them ranging from high $12K's to mid $14K's. I'm in FL but am willing to travel to get it, so would buy it w/o paying their sales tax, but would bring it home & pay FL sales tax, & title / tag it here.
$14K seems too high when I see them for less. Is $13K fair? $12K? $11K?? Should I muddy the waters by asking for an extended warranty?
I'm a cash buyer - Will dealers deal more with a cash buyer, or do they not really care?
If I bring an out-of-state model back to FL, I can't haggle with them to include first service or anything like that; it would be a cut-&-dry purchase-&-I'm-gone deal.
What would you offer an out-of-state dealer for such an easy sale for them?
Thank you!
