Starter Problem

No Spark on Starter solenoid bypass


I am under the impression if you touch the two hot wires on the starter solenoid/relay together they should complete the circuit (bypassing the relay) and spark/and or run the starter. When I touch them together they do not spark. I'm confused to what the problem might be?

also, i tested if there was a circuit between the hot wire going to the starter and the bike frame- a complete circuit exists so i think the starter is in fact grounded.

also im getting errors 11 and 12.

Any ideas?
