Bike has the following work freshly done. Freshly, does not mean within the time I've had it. It means it was literally done in the last two months, and besides for an oil change in another 3,000 miles, you don't need to do ANYTHING for another 20k. Currently has 22k on it.
Valve job, with proof of before and after valve clearances ($365)
Brand new EK MVXZ 520 chain, with brand new stock sized lightweight front sprocket, and +2 rear Renthal aluminum sprocket. This gives you just a little more power than factory, without losing any top end. ($225)
New spark plugs ($20)
K&N air filter ($60)
Oil with new filter ($25)
New Pro-Grips ($18)
New Pazzo Style Levers ($50)
Front and rear axles removed, cleaned, and greased ($25)
New Dunlop Q2 tires, the best going for street and track filled with nitrogen ($300)
Fush mount front euro style turn signals ($75)
Smoked rear light with built in turn signals ($70)
Custom rear LED plate light that is mounted under the tail above plate ($20)
Muzzy performance slip on exhaust with optional lightweight oversized midpipe ($350)
Suspension tuned and set up by local suspension guru for a 195lb rider ($60)
New performance EBC brake pads front and rear ($180)
New braided brake lines ($80)
ATE Super Blue brake fluid flushed and changed along with cleaning of the lines ($20)
Retrofitted calipers off a '09 ZX6R, this is done because the standard '05/'06 front brake calipers are weak, and loose pressure after time. This is unavoidable with factory calipers, and if you have ridden the last gen 636, you will know this. This bike DOES NOT suffer from that issue anymore, and has a front braking system that rivals race bikes. ($200)
The radiator has been removed, cleaned, pressure tested, and coupling points checked ($50)
New factory OEM thermostat ($46)
All new water wetter coolant. This makes the bike run approximately 9° cooler across the board. EXCELLENT for the hot summers in FL. ($20)
New heavy duty battery ($75)
Short aftermarket rear mirrors ($60)
Woodcraft frame sliders, best you can get ($75)
Woodcraft rear slider/spools ($30)
Clean title in my name with no drama ($priceless)
It doesn't take a genius to see that no expense was spared in getting this bike ready for absolutely anything that I wanted to do with it. As I said, it truly needs nothing, and shouldn't, after having put over $2500 into for no reason other than making this bike the best it can be. If you want a bike that is in the shape this one is, call me. Soon. I'm asking $4750, which is more than fair given this bike. I know I won't get the money I put into it back, but I'm not giving it away. I'm not going to ship it overseas, I'm not taking a counterfeit check and giving you change like an idiot, it's not going to be traded for anything, and it's not going to be given to you to sell as a "consignment."All the information that is on this bike has been provided in this listing. If you want to call me to plan a time today to come see it and take it home, call me at 727-565-289five. Thanks for reading! Bike does have a small crack in the top right of main fairing. The first owner, when he decided to sell it, asked a friend to transport it to his parent's house to store it while selling. The friend allegedly tried to strap down the bike using the fairing, which failed miserably. I've been trying to look for a new one online, and have been unsuccessful in my search to this point.
