F'ed up ape cct

Well im installing my ape tensioner right now n I think I really just f'ed up! Some body please tell me it's hard to jump a tooth when turning the motor over by hand? I thought I had it tightened enough in there then I turned the motor over by a ratchet and heard a couple clicks that I didn't hear before with the stock one in there? Can some one please help me lol
