Here goes...
3 days ago i went out to start my bike. I was of course standing on the left side. when it started, I heard a weird whine, almost like a turbo spool what must have been 5+ seconds.. then nothing..
stopped it, started it again.. no spool sound.
Rode 20 min to gym. slight vibration at highway speed... this is new, and more aggressive as rpms/speed increase. nothing CRAZY though. but definately noticeable. made mental note to drop bike at shop after gym
parked. trained. started bike, rode to last stop. completed errand. came out, started bike... dead battery. wtf... push started, died twice at low rpms.
finally got it running and rode home. as the shop was now closed.
Finally got the bike to the shop today as it was open.
im thinking stator, or rotor housing, hopefully the regulator just not both.
last thing i want is chewed up bits of magnet in my engine.
any comments or opinions???
