Can I install a 06 R1 Speedo on my 03 R1?

I was wondering if I can buy a 06 Speedo tach of eBay and mod it on a 03 Yamaha raven , will this be a electrical problem, I know the miles will be wrong if any body got any suggestion or help comments you can pm or inbox me . I love the full display of the 06 and up but I love my raven
