Hi guys, I've found a really clean and well taken care of '07 R1. ITs Raven and mostly stock but in super clean shape. It has about 11k miles on it and the guy is asking $6500 firm. Is this a decent deal for this bike? I've tired to get him down to $6100 but it was a no go. Im really close to pulling the trigger just want to know if I should snag it or wait till winter to get something cheaper. I live in Texas so we ride almost all year round unless its 200 degrees outside or raining.
Another question I have is about the '09. I love the sound of the '09s. What makes this deeper growl? I dont think its simply exhaust. Maybe its the crossplane or the bore? Im thinking that if I like riding the R1 I might trade up to an '09 or '10 in a couple of seasons.
