Well that is exactly what it is. It is an extra set of body work, that came with the bike. I have no use for it at all. The bike has been a race bike since 08 and the fellow who sold it had bought this stuff on top of the stock body work. I have just finished selling all the stock stuff. I am trying to get move on and sell this stuff. So contact me and make me an offer if you are not happy with the price and I'll think about it.
To be honest I do not know anything about this bodywork, I run sharkskins fiberglass on my bikes, and this stuff feels just as flexible. For a 125$ it will cost you less than replacing a single mid OEM panel, so in all honesty it worth it to me if it were used on the street for that price. It fits up well, but not sure who the heck made it. It is plastic and not fiberglass. I have priced out a new set off a prominent internet site for around $500. I broke the forum rules and named that site in my previous post, therefore will not do it again and have this deleted, but go search for it and you will find it fairly easy.
We ran it once in an endurance race and that was it... never been on the asphalt, and isn't scratched besides small rock chips from the endurance race on the lower. There is one minor scrape the size of a quarter on the mid near the blinker hole, not sure from what, but I'm guessing something rubbing in the trailer or a freaking birds beak encounter on the track for all I know. It has been stored in saran rap for almost 4 years now. I'm moving soon and it needs to go, I have 4 sets of bodywork for both bikes and realized that sort of excessive when trying to pack up the garage. This is by far the shiniest set in there right now.
Which seemed almost Identical.... So that being said pictured below is what I have... I'm listing it all for $125 plus 60-80$ shipping I will be shipping at the buyers cost which will be determined by your zip. If in the greater Denver area, I can meet you in castle rock or maybe even south Denver, and its all yours for 125 bones.
Hopefully that give you an idea... Feel free to contact me with any questions. By the way the "J" is a sticker from the endurance race that I will peel off.
Pics below: I can take as many as you like if you shoot me a number or email.
Thanks
