Just wondering how many miles you have on your cars.
I bought a 2001 Toyota Camry 4cyl from my high school history teacher right after I graduated from high school (2008). It had 53 k miles on had been rear ended once, but was repaired by the dealership. Clean title. Started my home health job in 2010 when the car had 68k miles on it worked that job till end of last year total miles in when I got fired were ~249,000. I just hit 255,000 and the check engine light came on turns out its just the EGR valve. The car is in great condition overall except the rear right side (I fell asleep driving once and drove into a ditch IDK how exactly but it hit the rear right side first). The only maintenance I ever did was timing belt and struts regular tuneups and oil changes.
I cant believe how the engine and transmission still runs strong and smooth. IMO this was probably the best investment I made since HS too soon to say anything about the r1.
